Comedy On Demand (COD) is
coming back to Yantic River Inn for our second monthly show on Friday,
August 30 at 8:00 PM! The show will feature hilarious skits, scenes, and
songs made up on the spot and based on suggestions from the audience.
You never know what we’re going to do -- and neither do we! But whatever we do, we guarantee a night of fun and laughs for one and all!
COD, a Connecticut-based troupe now in its 9th year, features
professional improv performers Dave Caffrey, Robin Fox, Casey O’Neill,
Michele Ridolfi O’Neill, and Anna Maria
Trusky -- five grown adults whose greatest joy in life is acting like
famous celebrities, toddlers, movie monsters, deep-sea divers,
compulsive belchers, jugglers, aliens, proctologists, alien proctologists, or whatever suggestions our audiences throw at us!
COD
has performed in such venues as Foxwoods, the Essex Steam Train, Deep
River Town Hall Auditorium, Clinton Town Hall, Chester Meeting House,
Adams Mill, Cherrystones, Gelston House, and Iron Chef.
Totally
renovated with new décor, the Yantic River Inn is under new ownership with a passion for quality food and great hospitality!
Its new menu of delicious comfort food includes appetizer favorites such
as wings, shrimp, and calamari; an extensive salad bar; and such
popular entrees as baked stuffed flounder, chicken marsala, eggplant
parmigiana, and grilled rib eye steak. The menu also features a wide
array of sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. The full menu will be available
to those coming for the show.
Seating is limited and
RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. The show will start at 8:00.
Tickets for the show are $10 at the door.
