Mom's the Word: A Theatrical Toast to Mothers is a collection of new original plays written by Connecticut playwrights on the theme of motherhood. These plays range from touching to hilarious and all come straight from the heart!
Performances will be at 7:30 PM on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, and 2:00 on Sunday, May 19.&nbsp;
The plays are: “Oxygen and Pearls” by Betsy Kudlacz “Mother's Love” by Claudia Isabel "Joy" by Jenna Bullock Eckman Papcin “The Missing Pieces” by Christine Reynolds “The Closet” by Steffi Rubin “Immortal Mommy Issues” by A. Flynn Rumney “Hot Mama” by Nathan Rumney “Bumps in the Yellow Brick Road” by Becky Rodia Schoenfeld “Mother's Day Every Day” by Anna Maria TruskyThe cast features Darla Allen, Toula Buonocore, Sally Derusha, Noah Greenleaf, Michelle Kettlety, Kody Mileski, Stevie Nelson, Christine Reynolds, Linda Shea, Allison Thorp, Sara Vegas, and Christine Wilbur. The directors are Christine Reynolds, Meagan Brunelle, Jenna Bullock Eckman Papcin, Betsy Kudlacz, and Anna Maria Trusky. 
The show is co-produced by Anna Maria Trusky and Allison Thorp.Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students.
