Second Annual Canvases For A Cause

The Gallery at Firehouse Square is hosting a special one-day art exhibit and sale to
support cancer research, education, and prevention. The second annual Canvases For A Cause will be held at THE GALLERY to benefit New London’s SAILS UP 4 CANCER and L+M Hospital’s new Cancer
Center. This exclusive one-day only maritime-themed
art exhibition and sale will feature 35 critically acclaimed artists, including
Glastonbury’s Jackie White, Ledyard’s Blaney Harris, Stonington’s Ralph Acosta, Mystic’s Del Bourree-Bach and Russ Kramer, and others, with proceeds benefiting SAILS UP 4 CANCER and its effort to support L+M Hospital’s new Cancer Center.  Other notable artists include Florida’s Robert Giordano, Massachusetts’ Maris Platais and Texas’ Jaime Navarro. Art lovers and sailing enthusiasts will also enjoy a wine tasting of fine selected wines from Gordon’s Yellow Front Wines of New London, delicious brunch offerings, and guitar stylings by Tommy
