Horizon Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Center presents: Owls with a reading of "Baby Owl Rescue"

Are you ready to meet owls? Great for nature lovers, the kids and those wanting to be around amazing creatures! Join us with Horizon Wings for a reading of the children's book "Baby Owl Rescue" followed by an hour presentation featuring three rescued owls. We start at 2pm. Free admission.
Based in Northeastern Connecticut, Horizon Wings is a non-profit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center specializing in Birds of Prey. The program birds are birds who can no longer be released due to either injuries or prolonged captivity. They are well cared for at the Horizon facility center and come out for educational events.
Horizon Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Mission Statement:"Our mission at Horizon Wings is to rehabilitate birds of prey for release into the wild in order to maintain their population, and to educate the community to enhance awareness of the environment.It is our hope by doing this that we reach people of all ages and create the desire in them to help preserve our natural world."
