Due to some confusion of the date, New London Landmarks is reminding people that a discussion on a planned Riverside Park playground isn't taking place on the evening of May 14, but rather a week later.
The meeting will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 21 at the Winthrop School. Discussion will include landscape architect Peter Miniutti's input on the park design following the decision by the New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association to build a memorial playground there.
