New London Tube: Connecticut Sun Volunteerism
WNBA team serves meals at the New London Community Meal Center
You may have seen noting how the local WNBA team, the Connecticut Sun, visited the recently to serve a meal. The team has also posted a video showcasing this effort.
The team lends a hand in serving some 200 people at the center, which provides lunches and dinners during the week. Mohegan Sun provided the food. And we can't forget to mention the Girl Scout troop visible here as well.
The Connecticut Sun team has been based at Mohegan Sun since the casino acquired the franchise from Orlando in 2003, according to the team's website. They have been active in community activities, including visits to a and project last year.

As for the music, the song is "VV" by The Cave Singers, a Seattle indie group. If you like it and want to see them live, well, you'll have to travel a bit. Their shows in the next couple of months will visit British Columbia and Oregon.
