Susan P. Epstein, LCSW and Parent Coach, practiced Psychotherapy and Child Play Therapy for 28 years before founding Parenting Powers in 2007 (www.ParentingPowers.com) a Parent Coaching company that provides tele-coaching, tele-classes and in-home parent coaching programs. Susan is a speaker/trainer for CMI Education and travels around the country presenting her seminar “Resistant, Disruptive, Explosive Behavior, 27 Simple and Effective Strategies for Children and Teens.”  She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley School of Social Welfare and trained with the Coaches Training Institute.

She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut and Rhode Island. In addition to her clinical work, Susan has written and published four parenting books, <i>“The Take Back Your Parenting Powers System”, 2007, and “Are You Tired of Nagging? How to Get Cooperative Kids”, 2008 and Your Out-Of-Control Teen, The Little Book With A Lot of Attitude: A Guide to Parent-Teen Communication, 2010, co-authored with her son, Daniel Rosenkrantz.</i> Susan also co-authored a children’s book, about death, loss and healing, <i>“The Cat Who Lost Its Meow”, 2008.</i>
