Gilda Fasullo, Neighbor

I spent many summers in New London and have wonderful memories of the beach and sharing times with my cousins.  I returned to New London on 8/23 to enjoy a family reunion, which was long overdue.  The New London beach was as breathtaking as I remember it.  Water was brisk, which I love; the surf was calm and that I'm not so hot about.  Had a wonderful time going down to the beach early (6:30 a.m.) and contemplating the setting and getting ready for the day to come.

I am a New Yorker and New London to me was a much needed escape to natural beauty and warm family get togethers.  It was great to recapture those feelings.
