Connecticut Sun Players To Visit New London Dunkin' Donuts

Three locations in area will each have two WNBA players greeting customers and signing autographs

If you visit the Colman Street Dunkin' Donuts at the right time on Thursday, you might get a basketball player's autograph along with your morning coffee. Players from the Connecticut Sun, the local WNBA team, will be visiting three Dunkin' Donuts shops around the region from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Two players will be at each location to greet customers and sign autographs. In addition to the New London site, players will also visit shops at 799 Long Hill Road in Groton and 641 Route 32 in Montville. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

The Coast Guard Academy rallied after trailing early in Sunday's NCAA championship softball game against Eastern Connecticut State University, but ultimately lost 5-4 to close out its season. Tufts University swept the Coast Guard Academy in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Saturday, forcing the Bears to play a rematch against Eastern Connecticut State University today. The Coast Guard Academy softball team swept one of the country's top teams on Friday, advancing to a winner's bracket final todaya against Tufts University.
