US Coast Guard Station

Located adjacent to historic Fort Trumbull, New London's U.S. Coast Guard Station provides security for the coast, ports, and waterways of the region. In addition, the Coast Guard units conduct search and rescue missions for boaters and others in need. A total of seven boats are stationed here: four 25-foot small response boats, two 41-foot utility boats, and one 45-foot medium response boat. A handful of other vessels, including the tall ship Eagle, use the station's docks but operate as separate units.
