Visitors will find that there is more than meets the eye from the street upon entering Thames River Greenery. It's like passing through layers of experiences for the senses. The first encounter is the Thames River Beanery, where coffee and espresso beverages are served all day and a light fare menu is on until 2:30pm. Beyond the beanery is the real Thames River Greenery, which is a large flower shop. Customers who take a left at the flower shop will visually step back about 100 years into the City News room, where newspapers and magazines can be found beneath original, painted tile walls and a tin ceiling that dates to the late 1800s. A rusted sign from "Fern's" fountain (a previous business), hangs over a modern magazine rack. The additional space and seating in the City News section is also available for private functions.
