The building now housing the Second Congregational Church of New London was dedicated in 1870, following the destruction of its original church by fire. The church pledges to teach the stories of Jesus Christ, God's love, and God's presence in daily life in a non-discriminatory way. The congregation runs several outreach programs as well as three different choirs.
