New London Police Department Headquarters

Evolving from a constable system to a night watch to a modern force, the New London Police Department has been working to enforce laws and provide public safety since before the Civil War. The department provides uniformed patrol services, including bicycle and marine officers. An investigative division is responsible for solving serious crimes, undercover investigations of drug and vice offenses and it provides school resource officers and D.A.R.E. programs.
