The Kente Cultural Center was established in 1997 by a group of African-American business and community leaders. The center runs artistic activities for children ages 8 to 15, with a focus on African-American arts and culture. The programs include art, music, crafts, and lectures, and a handicap-accessible art gallery is on the first floor.
