According to the sign out front, A.W. Marina has been "hooking up anglers since 1959." It is a full-service, family-owned-and-operated marina with 20 long-term slips and four transient slips for rent. It offers electricity, fresh water, 24-hour security and a bathroom for customers. The marina also serves as an official Connecticut state weigh station and is brimming with fishing supplies, including tackle, bait, rods, reels, line, nets and traps. The shop also issues fishing licenses and will special-order equipment and supplies upon request.
