Red Sox Recognize New London Homeless Hospitality Center

The New London center is the 21st recipient of the "100 Acts of Kindness" program

 

The Boston Red Sox and the Red Sox Foundation have issued an announcement recognizing the as the 21st recipient of the "100 Acts of Kindness" program.

In celebration of Fenway's 100th anniversary, the program calls attention to charities across the region.

According to the press release, the team's business operations department dropped by the NLHHC on Tuesday, May 8 to donate clothing and accessories to the guests.

The "100 Acts of Kindness" program will recognize a total of 100 nonprofits with donations, volunteer efforts of community events, the release says.
