Pro Wrestler of the Week Interview with Tony Flood Plus The First Annual Independent Wrestling Showcase May 18, 2014 By Christopher Annino

Tony Flood is Canadian born pro wrestler and trainer. He has trained several wrestlers including Sarah Summers. Some of the individuals that he looked up to the most growing up were Cactus Jack, Vader, and Shane Douglas. He watched his frst show when he was 10yrs old and  recalled seeing Lucky Dane, Homicidal Steven Davis, and Intimidator Josh Totten wrestle.  One of the things that Tony is most proud of is his feud of the year in 2012 with rival LVK.  Another aspect of his career that he is proud of is“Being given the opportunity to have my own school to train anyone wanting to achieve their dreams, and pursue this crazy sport we call pro wrestling.” On a side note Tony expressed “I have a never ending  feud with Farmer Billy Hills and LVK.”

Illinois Championship Alliance Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Collision, and Strictly Insane Pro Wrestling have teamed up for a good cause. On May 18th in Harrisburg, Illinois  104 West McHaney. This will be the first of its kind three organizations getting together to help a reputable cause Shop with a Cop.  I had the pleasure in speaking with wrestling superstar Billy Hays who is one of the individuals running the event “The idea of the event is pretty simple. Help underprivileged kids have a good Christmas with Shop with a Cop and show the professional wrestling world that 3 companies can come together for one cause. The kids are the top priority.”

Some of the matches for that night will be women’s champion Sarah Summers vs Kandi Jewel,  Brandon Espinosa and Tony Kozina will be facing Team XXX (Joey O'Riley and Jay Spade). The main event for that night will be Champion vs Champion vs Champion. Heath Hatton (StricktlyNsane) vs Bull Bronson (PWC) vs Tony Flood (ICAW).  They will have a gauntlet match featuring Dyce Patterson, Zakk Sawyers, Dalton Diamond, Kaleb Blaque, Joseph Edward Winestein and a surprise entry! 6 men enter and only 1 winner.
