Welcome tourists! New London's seasonal attractions will all be officially open on Thursday.
A representative from the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center said the Monte Cristo Cottage will be open for the season on Thursday. The museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
Fort Trumbull State Park opened for tours following Memorial Day weekend. The fort and its visitor center are open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for ages 13 and up, $2 for ages six to 12, and free for anyone under five.
The Hempsted Houses opened this month and have guided tours between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with Thursday and Friday hours added starting in July. Admission is $7 for adults; $6 for students, seniors, and teachers; $4 for children ages four to 18; and free for children under six and Connecticut Landmarks members.
The Nathan Hale Schoolhouse opened on May 1 and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
Tours of the Connecticut College Arboretum also opened this month. These start at 2 p.m. on Sundays outside the Olin Science Center.
