Tina Charles, a center for the Uncasville-based team, and Renee Montgomery, a guard, spoke with members of the six-week day program, which ends on Friday. Children asked them about whether they got nervous during games, how they joined the team, and how much they are paid, among other questions.
The appearance was part of a partnership between the team and . The Connecticut Sun have won 14 games and lost seven this season. They are scheduled to play the San Antonio Silver Stars tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Mohegan Sun.
