This is the monthly New London Little League Baseball/Softball Board of Directors meeting, these meeting are always open to the public, for the first part to discuss appreication, concerns, and ideas of how to keep our league going strong, as well as a way to plan out ways to expand our kids love of the game and way to keep them active. We meet the second Monday of each month at the New London Senior Center at 7 pm. As the season gets closer we increase to a meeting every 2 weeks, as there are lots of things to discuss and plan.
The first meeting in Sept. is when we accept nominations for the incoming new board, positions include, but are not limited to, President, Vice President, Player Agent, Treasurer, Secretary, Safety Director, Baseball Director, Softball Director, Farm/Minor Director, Concussion Director, Field Maintainace Director, Members at Large, Fund Raising Director. Any interested person can be nominated.
The Second meeting in Sept, typically the 4th Monday of Sept, is when the New board is voted in. this meeting is open to any and all parents, coaches, and volunteers. You are the backbone of the league. Voting is for names only positions are not decided until the New Board meets in Oct. The incoming board decides who best fits where.
