Midway through the second stanza, Wheaton scored three consecutive goals to make it a 10-8 game. Katie Powers (Ashburnham, Mass.) capped the rally for the Lyons, finishing on a feed from DeSantis with 14:44 remaining to make things interesting.

But the Camels responded with a scoring surge of their own to put the game-away. Driscoll buried a free position shot with 13:52 remaining and Crutchfield followed with a goal in transition to make it a 12-8 contest.

The hosts tacked on six more goals to close out the 18-8 win.

The Camels built a 4-0 first half advantage and used a goal from McAuley with 12:32 remaining to take a 7-1 lead.

The Lyons responded though and were within three after Colburn scored her third goal of the half with 1:59 remaining. But Nichols closed out the first half scoring for the home team, executing on a nifty looking spin move with 4.6 seconds left to put the Camels on top 9-5 at the break.
