Can New London Girls Basketball Team Go All The Way Again?
The 8th and 7th grade travel team are defending champs and 3-0 so far. The team is playing four games at the XJam at Connecticut College this weekend.
New London's 7th and 8th grade travel basketball team started the season as defending champions and they're off to a great beginning. New London's dream team took the court last weekend against Mansfield girls travel team and won 58-28.
"I was really happy for my team," writes Head Coach Calvin Fort. "My team still had that vision in the back of their mind about last year's loss against them by only 3 points. We just practiced hard all week long to prepare for this great team and finally came out with the big victory."
So far this season, the team is 3-0 and all 12 girls have been playing great. The New London team's next challenge is four games that will be played this weekend at the XJam at Connecticut College.

"I'm really excited this year for my basketball team," writes Fort, adding he thinks they've got what it takes to go all the way again.
