The Community Foundation Awards Scholarships to 30 New London Students

The Community Foundation awarded $372,450 to 209 regional students so far this year.

The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut will be helping 30 New London graduates and students pursue their academic goals, according to a press release sent to Patch.

The organization has given out $372,450 in scholarships this year to 209 eastern Connecticut high school and college students, the release said. Another $30,450 will be distributed to different scholarship groups for a total of $403,000 in donations for students, a 20 percent increase from the previous year.
