New London School Governance Vacancies Announced
There are five vacancies open to parents on the School Governance Council and the applications are due Friday, May 31.
How do you feel about New London Schools? Think you can make a difference? Here's your chance to throw your hat in and see what you can do help New London students and the city as a whole.
The following message was posted on the New London High School website.
School Governance Councils were created by the state’s education reform law to enable parents, school staff, students and community leaders to work together to improve student achievement. The New London School Governance Council represents the many interests of the families and staff that make up our school’s community.
Currently five parent vacancies are open for a two year term beginning July 2013. Serving as a council member will require time, energy and a willingness to listen.
If you would like to be part of the New London High School Governance Council please complete this application and submit to Grace Sanchez, New London High School by Friday, May 31, 2013.
