In the wake of tragedy, CT school officials need the students to fill them in

 

In light of the , New London Superintendent Nick Fischer told WTNH that the students "really are very good kind of barometers of things that they're concerned about [...] if they're frightened about something."

According to the article, school officials rely on the students to keep the faculty in the know when it comes to messages on Facebook, Twitter.

Fischer also told WTNH about New London's anti-bullying policy.

"Nine times out of 10 what we're finding is that it's coming out of some situation where a student has been bullied or harassed or isolated," Fischer said in the article.
