Mitchell College to Offer Dorms to UConn Avery Point Students

UConn Avery Point students can now stay in dorms at Mitchell College in New London.

UConn Avery Point is hoping that more students from afar will consider studying at the campus now that it can offer them a place to live near campus.

UConn and Mitchell College have signed a memorandum of understanding that Avery Point students can live in empty dorms at Mitchell College, according to a report in The Day.

Most Avery Point students live at home and commute or get apartments near the Groton campus, which some parents don’t like. Housing at Mitchell will cost students $12,500, according to the report.
