Mansfield Author And Norwich Native Wally Lamb To Address UConn Graduates

Mansfield author Wally Lamb will be among several speakers to address graduating UConn students during commencement ceremonies in May.

Lamb, who penned award-winning books "She’s Come Undone" and "I Know This Much is True" will speak at the Neag School of Education's 9 a.m. ceremony on Sunday, May 12, at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, according to information provided by the university.

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, Lamb was the director of the Writing Center at Norwich Free Academy from 1989-98 and was an associate professor of creative writing in the English Department at UConn. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Education from UConn and an MFA in Writing from Vermont College. Lamb currently resides in Mansfield.
