The Nuts and Bolts of Special Education
On Thursday, October 20, 2011, Families United and Advocacy Support and Beyond will host a free workshop presented by Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center entitled, "The Nuts and Bolts of Special Education."
Families of children with disabilities are encouraged to attend and will learn how to become more active participants in their children’s education. The workshop will include information on laws relating to special education, preparing for meetings at school and the special education referral process. There will also be time for questions and answers.
