has made the top 10 in a Newsweek ranking of the nation's most beautiful schools.
Newsweek, along with The Daily Beast, recently released the list as part of their 2012 college rankings. College Prowler took student rankings of the aesthetics of the campus and architecture as well as the attractiveness of the student body. The rankings also took into consideration the number of sunny days per year and the comfort index, or measure of afternoon temperature and humidity, in data provided by Sperling's Best Places.
The average student rankings gave the campus aesthetics a 9.2 out of 10, male attractiveness an 8.3 out of 10, and female attractiveness an 8.7 out of 10. The college also tallied 203 sunny days on average with a comfort index of 45.
Pacific Union College in Angwin, Calif. took the top place in the poll.
