WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

The mayor of New London stood daily with the striking nurses and LPN’s at L&M Hospital, claiming that he is a pro union mayor and a union supporter. Yet in his administration he is in a continuous battle with the New London Police Union all for what appears to be a personal vendetta with the police union leadership. Pro union administrations work harmoniously with their own unions. The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer for the city and has the complete power and authority to end the attacks on the Police Union and the AFSCME Council 15 staff. What would a union supporter do?

Mayor Finizio is of the same mold as the two United States Senators from Connecticut and the progressive governor of Connecticut. The fab four are working hard for the non taxpaying criminals that reside in our community and country illegally and the criminals that put each of us and our families at risk. This is not what the people elected these people to do.

Senator Richard Blumenthal has gone on a full frontal assault against UPS for the holiday package deliveries. Bravo Zulu to our esteemed United States Senator from Connecticut. With all that is going on in Connecticut and the United States this is the battle that he chooses. If this is not enough the esteemed Senior United States Senator from Connecticut Richard Blumenthal joined hands with the Junior United States Senator from Connecticut Chris Murphy to vote to reduce retirement benefits for military retirees. How much did they cut their own retirements? It is even worse to know that these two United States Senators from Connecticut are active supporters of the rights and benefits for illegal immigrants (criminals). What has our world come to when two United States Senators put the needs and desires of illegal immigrants above the needs and prior commitments made to United States Combat Veterans and military retirees that put their lives on the line to support and defend the very same constitution that is being used against them by these two United States Senators.

This is the first day of the New Year. 2014 must become the year of “We Have Had Enough”. All citizens need to stand up, get active and hold these people accountable and start working today to see that in each and every upcoming election these people and their agendas are cast aside and replaced with people that will protect and preserve the American way of life. If we as a community fail in this endeavor what occurs from this point forward is our fault, not the fault of anyone else.
