Your Take: Which New London Roads And Sidewalks Need The Most Attention?

In February, the City Council approved the appropriation of $1.6 million from a previously approved $15 million bond to go toward paving and sidewalk improvements

The money will go toward upgrades to 14 sites around New London, mostly in the northern and central areas. Public Works Director Tim Hanser recently said the work is part of a five-year improvement plan, and that a state deadline for sidewalk and curbing work on Jefferson Ave. will require that project to be moved up and several of the anticipated improvement projects to be put off until the 2014 fiscal year.

The first article set off a storm of comments as several people said they thought other streets and sidewalks should get higher priority than the ones that were selected.

Which roads and sidewalks in New London do you think are in the greatest need of repair? Let us know in the comments.
