Several mayoral debates scheduled before Election Day

A series of debates and election forums have been scheduled for the weeks before Election Day. The Neighborhood Alliance of New London is sponsoring three forums to meet the candidates for City Council, Board of Education, and mayor, with the Connecticut League of Women Voters moderating each forum. In addition, a discussion on the upcoming vote is taking place along with several mayoral debates.

The following is a list of upcoming events:

  • Mayoral candidates debate, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at
  • Meet The Candidates, Board of Education; 7 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the
  • "The Future of Riverside Park," 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the Pilot House in
  • Meet The Candidates, City Council; 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Senior Center
  • Meet The Candidates, mayor; 7 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Senior Center
  • Candidates' forum on preservation issues, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the
  • Mayoral debate, 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 at

Correction: The date for the mayoral debate at the Senior Center was originally listed as Oct. 25. The debate will take place on Oct. 24.
