State To Hold Mortgage Assistance Event

The University of Connecticut will host the homeowners assistance program on Tuesday, July 10

Connecticut homeowners are invited to attend the state's third mortgage assistance event, scheduled for Tuesday, July 10, CT News Junkie reports.

According to the article, homeowners seeking help with modifications to their mortgages and information on preventing home foreclosure can come by the event, which will take place at the University of Connecticut Student Union in Storrs.

The program will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and free parking is available.

The state has previously hosted two other programs like this, one in Hartford and another in Bridgeport, the article says.

If you're interested in this event but unable to attend, seek advice through the Banking Department’s Foreclosure Assistance Hotline at 1-877-472-8313.

Does he live in the condo at the Harbor House? Does he rent it out? Is the house in Mansfield aRead More rental property? Does he think that just because he has a property in New London and may not truly reside in it, that he is a New London resident. I would be interested in hearing his spin on this.

You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people when they haveRead More Kathleen Mitchell looking out for them. This is just sickening how with all the evidence that Kathleen has provided that Jeff Smith is not suspended as of today. The arrogance of this entire administration is beyond belief. I want to know what the Mayor has to say about this and I also would like to hear from Macrino, Hyslop and Passero.
