Register Your Dog Before June 30 To Avoid Late Fee

Process can be completed by mail or with a visit to the New London city clerk's office

The city is asking dog owners to renew their licenses before June 30 to avoid a late fee of a dollar a month.

New licenses will be valid through June 30, 2013. Licenses are required for all dogs over six months old and living in New London. The cost is $19, or $8 for dogs that have been spayed and neutered.

Licenses may be acquired by mailing the or visiting the office in person between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Owners should also include proof of rabies vaccination and, if applicable, a certificate showing that the dog has been spayed or neutered.
