New London Election Summary
Where to vote, and some information on each of the races
A busy election season reaches its conclusion on Tuesday. Voters will choose a person to fill the newly strengthened office of mayor, as well as a new City Council and Board of Education. The single referendum asks whether a portion of should be sold to the .
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting locations are divided by district and include , , and the Nathan Hale School building on Beech Drive. This building is currently occupied by Winthrop School.
New voter registration ends at noon today and must be done in person at the office in . However, members of the military and people who turned 18, became a United States citizen, or moved to New London within the past few days may register until 5 p.m. Newly registering voters should have proof of residency.
