What's going on at the corner of Bank Street and Howard Street?
Public Works Director Tim Hanser said workers are realigning the intersection and its traffic signals. The project will allow Howard Street to be better aligned with Blinman Street, which intersects with Bank Street opposite Howard Street.
Hanser said 80 percent of the work will be funded through a federal grant administered by the state, with the remainder of the costs to be paid by the city.
