The U.S. Coast Guard has announced that they're teaming up with the U.S. Navy and the Canadian Joint Task Force Atlantic for a joint-forces exercise, called the Frontier Sentinel.
The exercise begins Wednesday, May 2 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, the press release says, and will wrap up after a week in Groton and New London on May 9.

Frontier Sentinel gives the forces an opportunity to train together and practice maritime homeland security drills, the Coast Guard says, noting that the exercises will take place in the New London Harbor and on the Thames River.
Everyday use of the harbor and river should not be significantly affected by these exercises.
