Vehicle Sought By Connecticut Police In Marathon Bombings Recovered In Boston

Connecticut State Police were on alert this morning after shootout with suspects in Boston

The Connecticut State Police has revised a notice issued this morning on their search for a vehicle possibly driven by a suspect in Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.

According to the Watertown Patch, the Boston Police Department is searching for 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, a Cambridge resident, after an overnight shootout with police that resulted in the death of Tsarnaev's brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The suspects also reportedly killed 26-year-old Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer Sean Collier and wounded transit officer Richard (Dic) H. Donohue Jr., 33.

Lt. J. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police issued a notice this morning that they had been informed by Boston investigators that the suspect was possibly driving a gray Honda CRV with the Massachusetts license plate of 316 ES9.

The notice was later updated to say that the vehicle has been recovered in Boston and all calls on the matter should be directed to the Boston Police Department.

Further updates on developments in this matter will be posted at the Watertown Patch.
