Investigators Remain On Scene After Fatal Accident

Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred early Sunday morning.

Two people died of their injuries after an accident which occurred in the area of Vauxhall Street and Channing Street. The condition of a third person in the vehicle was not released. According to the police log, the accident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m.

Officers and investigators remained on the scene mid-day Sunday, closing off the road and sidewalk of Vauxhall Street between Williams Street and Nathan Hale Street.
