Suitcase Briefly Closes Bank Street

Police respond to report of a suspicious package

Bank Street was briefly closed this evening as officers from the responded to a call of a suspicious package.

Deputy Chief Marshall Segar said a suitcase was found on the sidewalk outside . Segar said precautions were taken but the owner of the suitcase was soon located and the matter was resolved.

No arrests were made.
