Report: New London Man Charged in 'Hazing' Incident
The 21-year-old University of Hartford student was arrested by West Hartford Police.
A 21-year-old New London man was arrested on a charge of third-degree assault in relation to a "hazing-related assault" in West Hartford.
WFSB reports that the man, George T. Sinclair, turned himself in to West Hartford Police on March 13 after learning of an active warrant for his arrest.
The alleged incident took place on Oct. 31, 2013, according to the state Judicial Branch website.
Sinclair is a student at the University of Hartford. A school spokesperson told WFSB the alleged incident took place at an off-campus fraternity that is not authorized by the university.
Sinclair's bond was set at $1,000. He's scheduled to appear in court on March 27.
