Police Seek to ID Stolen Church Objects

Follow-up investigation into 29-year-old man

The New London Police Department is asking for any victims of a spate of church thefts to contact the department to identify seized property.

The request is part of a follow-up investigation into the arrest of 29-year-old Angel Rodriguez of 32 Moore Ave. Rodriguez is charged with 10 counts of burglary, nine counts of criminal mischief, three counts of sixth degree larceny, two counts of third degree larceny, and one count each of third degree larceny and criminal attempt/third degree burglary. Rodriguez was arrested on Oct. 26.

The New London Police Department conducted the investigation into the burglaries and thefts from places of worship in New London County. Any victims of these crimes should contact the department's Detective Bureau at 860-447-1481.
