Arrests for March 23

A city man charged March 22 for an alleged domestic assault had more charges lodged against him by police.

Sean K. Brunstorff, 34, 130 State St., Apt. 1A, was charged March 22 with second-degree breach of peace, second degree assault and risk of injury to a minor following an alleged domestic assault. The alleged assault occurred in an apartment at 40 Pearl St., and police said children were present at the time.

Deputy Police Chief Marshall Segar said following the arrest, a search warrant for the crime scene was obtained.  As a result of that search, two firearms were seized along with evidence related to the domestic assault. Brunstorff was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Altering the Serial Number on a Firearm.

Brunstorff was held on $125,000 bond and was arraigned in New London court Wednesday.

Samantha J. Reed, 30, 173 Laurel Drive, March 23, incorrect number of headlights, misuse of plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Chassa R. Ladson, 33 Summer St., 19, March 23, driving with a suspended registration, driving an uninsured car.

Joseph C. Guerin Jr., 58, of 39 Georgiana St., March 16, evading responsibility, failure to drive right.

Orlando Melendez, 23, 48 Crystal Ave., A26, March 23, violation of a protective order and first-degree trespass.

Eurilys N. Daley, 64, 51 Fuller St., March 23, evading responsibility and unsafe backing.

Teddy M. Owens, 44, 36 Starr St., second floor, sixth-degree larceny.
