Police Blotter: Domestic Assault

A city man is being held on $125,000 bond after being arrested for an alleged domestic assault.

Sean K. Brunstorff, 34, 130 State St., Apt. 1A, was charged March 22 with second-degree breach of peace, second degree assault and risk of injury to a minor following an alleged domestic assault. The alleged assault occurred in an apartment at 40 Pearl St., and police said children were present at the time.

Brunstorff faces additional charges after a search warrant was executed at his residence following this incident, Deputy Police Chief Marshall Segar said.  Details and the additional charges will be available Thursday. Brunstorff was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

Akeem Morris, 33, of 42 Spring St., was charged March 22 in connection with an incident that happened on Feb. 14. Segar said that officers attempted to stop Morris while he was driving, but instead of stopping, Morris drove to a residence on Franklin Street.  He was placed in custody and marijuana was discovered in the vehicle, Segar said. Morris was charged with risk of injury to a minor, second-degree reckless endangerment, third degree assault, engaging in pursuit, possession of marijuana, driving an unregistered car, improper use of a signal and driving with a suspended license. He was held on $500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

Clayton P. Young, 30, 62 Polly’s Lane, Uncasville, March 23, driving an unregistered car, driving without insurance.

Gilberto Olivencia, 24, of 32 Mercer St., Apt. 1, March 22 with unsafe start and driving with a suspended license.

Christian J. Turrisi, 39, of 81 Franklin St., Westerly, RI., March 22, seatbelt violation and driving with a suspended license.

Shantee R. Seay, 27, of 25 Enfield St., Hartford, March 22, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school.

Roshan C. Allen, 24, 159 Duncaster Road, Bloomfield, March 22, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maribel Perez, 21, of 48 Crystal Ave., Apt A84, March 22, first degree failure to appear, second degree failure to appear. $50,000 bond.
