Police Arrest Woman After Stabbing In New London Domestic Dispute
Rasharra J. Hines charged with stabbing 22-year-old man on Dec. 1
A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on charges that she stabbed a man during a domestic dispute earlier this month.
Rasharra J. Hines, whose last known address is unknown, has been charged with first-degree assault after she turned herself in at the New London Police Department Headquarters. Hines is being held on a $75,000 bond.
The stabbing occurred at 151 Garfield Ave. at about 8:38 a.m. on Dec. 1. Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said officers responded to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for a report of a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed with an edged weapon at the address.

Investigators took statements from the man as well as Hines and obtained an arrest warrant for Hines. After detectives notified Hines of the warrant, she surrendered herself at police headquarters.
