Police Arrest Five After Bar Disturbance

23-year-old man injured in brawl at O'Neill's Brass Rail

Police charged five people with involvement in an early morning fight at a downtown bar that injured a 23-year-old New London man.

Deputy Chief Marshall Segar of the said the incident occurred at around 1 a.m. this morning. The man suffered cuts to his head and face and was taken to by a fire department ambulance. At the hospital, the man told police that he and a female friend were at the bar when he got into an argument with several other men he knew. He said the five men eventually punched him and hit him with a chair.

Police arrested Curtis Austin, Jr., 22, of 1132 Ocean Ave.; Jeremy J. Dixon, 20, of 99 Garfield Ave.; Otis B. Guess, Jr., 24, of 99 Garfield Ave.; Kyle E. Landry, 20, of 138 Great Neck Road in Waterford; and Delam-Elijah Morrison, 21, of 138 Great Neck Road in Waterford. Each man was charged with second-degree assault and breach of peace.
