Arrests recorded June 22-June 25

June 22

Jovan M. Wilson, 32, of 79 Garfield Ave., New London, was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree. Bond was set at $500.

Matthew Moffitt, 46, of 13 Malavenda Lane, Norwich, was charged with interfering with a police officer, criminal impersonation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, making an improper turn, engaging in pursuit and reckless endangerment. Bond was set at $70,000.

Jamie Elizabeth Poulos, 24, of 1 Windy Ridge Place, Waterford, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and using a cell phone while driving.

John N. Scarpa, 56, of 37 Spring Street, New London, was charged with threatening and disorderly conduct.

David J. Bernardo, 45, of 1579 Rte. 12, Gales Ferry, was charged with larceny in the 6th degree.

Percy Guillen Zea, 48, of 195 3rd Ave., New London, was charged with failure to drive right, operating a motor vehicle without a license and driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

David J. Swirski, 30, of 47 Turner Rd., Oakdale, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under a suspended license, possession of drug paraphenalia, and failure to obey a traffic signal.

Edwin Santana, Jr., 29, of 48 Crystal Ave., New London, was charged with possession of marijuana (less than four ounces) and possession of marijuana within a school zone.

Marcos Fernandez, 43, of 36 Mountain Road, New London, was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree and fifth-degree larceny.

Alexander Rivera, 36, of 187 Huntington St., New London, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree larceny.

Wilfredo Lebron, 41, of 36 Truman St., New London, was charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

June 23

Heidi L. Strain, 24, of 253 Gibson Hill Rd., Sterling, was charged with Failure to Appear (second). Bond was set at $10,000.

Paul Maurice, 47, of no fixed address, was arrested at West Pleasant Street in New London for violating a protective order, and for having a warrant out for violating a protective order. 

Jason Rodriguez, 36, of 65 Federal Street, New London, was arrested for breach of peace in the second degree and trespassing in the third degree.

June 24

Javier Moniz, 25, of no certain address, was arrested at 96 Green Street, New London, and charged with interfering with a police officer, criminal use of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, carrying a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault in the first degree, and reckless endangerment. Bond was set at $200,000.

Jania Delgado, 41, of 315 Bellevue Street., Hartford, was arrested at Ocean Beach Park for interfering with a police officer.

Sonia Vazquez, 23, of 315 Bellevue Street, Hartford, was arrested for breach of peace and interfering with police officer.

June 25

Roberto Vega, 37, of 3035 N. 9th St., Philadelphia, Penn., was charged with violation of probation and failure to appear (2nd). Bond was set at $100,000.

Ellis Shauntay, 25, of 70 Huntington St., New London, was charged with conspiracy/forgery in the 2nd degree; conspiracy/larceny in the 3rd degree; conspiracy/larceny in the second degree. Bond was set at $20,000.
