New London Firefighters Hold Burn Foundation Fundraiser

Tickets available through Sunday to dinner at Stash's Cafe

The New London Firefighters Burn Foundation is holding a fundraiser next week to benefit burn victims and their families.

The steak or fish dinner will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Stash's Cafe. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased through Sunday at Stash's or by contacting Michael Leonard at michaelleonard1075@sbcglobal.net.

The New London Firefighters Burn Foundation is a not-for-profit organization made up of members of the New London Fire Department. It got its start after a lieutanant began volunteering his vacation time to be a counselor at the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp in Union. The camp is open to children from around the world who have suffered burn injuries and works to help them overcome anxieties and enhance their physical and social skills.
