New London Cops: Man Steals Wallet, Then Car, Police K-9 Finds Him

Richard Halaprin, 44, and Jennifer Casteel, 31, are accused of trying to steal a car and allegedly running several vehicles off the road as they fled, WFSB 3 television reports. 

Halaprin is accused of trying to steal a woman’s purse on Howard Street where he worked, and then taking the woman’s car, WFSB reports. 

He was found hiding under a bed by a police K-9.
