Arrests by the New London Police Department

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.

Ramon Gomez, 36, of 624 Montauk Ave., July 27, accessory to theft of firearms, accessory to fourth-degree larceny, $75,000 bond.

Christopher Vargas-Lebron, 20, of 548 Thames Street in Groton, July 27, second-degree breach of peace, threatening, no bond listed.

Andrew Guzman, 27, of 15 Terrace Ave, July 27, second-degree failure to appear in court, $25,000 cash or surety bond.

Brian Howard, 31, of 18 Cleveland Ave., July 27, driving under suspension, driving while on cell phone, $1,000 cash or surety bond.

John P. Scarpa, 56, of 37 Spring Street, July 27, disorderly conduct, no bond listed.

Juan Xante, 28, of 78 Montauk Ave., July 27, breach of peace, interfering with police, $500 cash or surety bond.

Gregory Reyes, 22, of 42 Denison Ave., July 28, breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, $1,500 non-surety bond.

Lorraine Gonzalez, 23, of 103 Norwood Ave., July 28, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, unsafe backing, promise to appear in court.

Kelim Caron, 22, of 31 Truman Street, July 28, breach of peace, no bond listed.

Vasilis Athanson, 52, of 127 Hempstead Street, July 29, breach of peace, no bond listed.

Glenn Perez, 20, of 130 State Street, July 29, three counts of assault on a police officer, three counts of second-degree assault, assault on an emergency medical services employee, breach of peace, third-degree assault, interfering with police, threatening, $200,000 cash or surety bond.
